Debian is my favouritest distro in the whole wide world. When I grow up I’m going to marry it!

Well, maybe not. But there’s a damn good chance I’ll end up with a debian tattoo at some point.

I started using Debian when I fled from Red Hat 7.2 after I installed GnuCash… by hand… resolving all dependancies… by hand. It was unpleasant. Then I typed ‘apt-get install gnucash’ on a debian system. That was very pleasant. I’ve never looked back since.

I figured it was time to add section to dump Debian tidbits from the recesses of my brain.  Some stuff here may be useful to others, some stuff here I might just put here so I don’t forget it.
